LigAmen produces artwork that seeks to reflect on our inter-connections. Each canvas has been composed from recycled upholstery fabric combining selected colours and textures. Onto these unique surfaces images of humanity grow, that often speak of our mundane and yet fundamental connections with each other. They may be seen as thread like and fleeting as the moments that have inspired them. A desire in their creation is that they are reminders that we live in a wonderfully woven world of which so much is transient and yet we can be more through our interweaving, our sharing and collaborating, our interdependence and connections.
